By putting the energy principles of Acupuncture to work, Catherine Coudray AP, can teach the body how to not have an allergy attack. The allergic response, sneezing, coughing, stuffed up nose, flushed face/cheeks, watery eyes, headache etc… is kind of learned behavior. Once your body senses a food or chemicals or smell or a plant, pollen as dangerous, it stages an allergic reaction/attack as an immune system defense.
The particularities of the treatment follow directly from the information Catherine Coudray gathers from EDS*. In many respects, EDS is both the source and the diagnosis and the means of delivering treatment. During the diagnostic phase Catherine investigates a patient's potential allergic reaction to up to 1400 different foods and substances (even supplements and medications). The energy imprints of the allergenic substances and variety of their strengths are contained in a vial, which the patient holds. While holding the vial with imprinted material the patient is treated with Acupuncture, this application gives the brain a new message that the energy is now acceptable and no further attacks are necessary. It's like adjusting the default setting on a computer.
